Between man-made carbon dioxide trapping heat in the atmosphere and a predicted weak El Nino, NASA climatologists are predicting that
2005 could be the warmest year ever recorded. The current record-holder is the year 1998.
Last year was the fourth warmest year recorded. The second and third warmest years were 2002 and 2003, respectively.
