No, this time we're not talking about Paris. The Hilton hotel chain -- which manages Hilton, Doubletree, Homewood Suites and Embassy Suites hotels -- is
installing clock radios in its rooms to which guests can attach their iPods, allowing them to wake up to their favorite MP3s. The chain is also offering iPods and iTunes downloads as prizes on its
website.
Clearly, Hilton realizes how many of its guests are iPod users. The move also shows how deeply iPods have embedded themselves into the technical and cultural mainstream over the past few years.
