Skin Cells Could be the New Botox... And So Much More

Fibroblast cells from skin are being tested for use in treating gum disease, erasing stretch marks and even growing hair. They can also theoretically be used for anti-aging therapies.

Fibroblast contains several crucial tissue proteins, including collagen and elastin, that can help cure a variety of disorders. A Houston-based biotech firm called Isolagen is conducting clinical trials, though there's no word as to when commercial products will be available.
