Italian designer
Giovanni Cannata proposes a network of
"light appliances" that would interact and allow owners to communicate with others. Although the thesis is theoretical and lacking in technical details, it does address an issue that we in the US often don't think about: many in Italy -- and most around the world -- don't use PCs or the Internet, and therefore need a simpler way to access the Net's communication capabilities.
