Earlier this year,
Parade magazine published
a list of the top ten world's worst dictators, complied by Dave Wallechinsky of
Book of Lists fame. Anyone who follows world events will see familiar names, though there are some surprises. North Korea's Kim Jong Il is Number One. However, the previous holder of the top slot -- Saddam Hussein -- is conspicuously absent from the list.
What does this have to do with the future? Plenty, when you consider that these individuals are often the greatest obstacles to progress and world peace.
